Jesus Christ called me

First I want to share something that happened in 1998:
The Lord Jesus Christ called me.
One night I woke up. I saw a white, bright light. In the midst of it I saw an arm extended towards me, with the hand beckoning me. At the same time I heard a voice inside my head that said me: “Come”.
The next day I realized that God had left me a reminder of that nightly calling: a small blind spot in my right eye, so that I would not doubt that this had really happened.
Some time later I read this verse that makes me think that it was the Lord Jesus himself who had called me:
Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and [I will] show myself to him . (John 14:21)
God confirmed me that He wanted that I would get baptized.
At church I heard that getting baptized is an “commandment of obedience”. But I had been baptized being an infant. And now I would need to get baptized again? I asked myself how this matter really was. One day in prayer I said: “Father, do you really want that I get baptized?”
Saturday October 17, 1998 I testified in the city of San Miguel. After the event I slipped in a large pool in the bathroom of the bus station. All my clothing was soaked with dirty water. I received this as a strong signal that God really wanted that I would get baptized. I know that God used such dirty water in my case because during my perversions in Belgium many times I had soiled my entire body likewise. (If you doubt that God would use this kind of stuff read Ezekiel 4:12.)
The next day, Sunday October 18, 1998, I was baptized by full immersion at my church, amidst about one hundred Salvadorian brothers.
Five days later a very particular event took place:
An evil spirit came out of me.
Friday October 23, 1998 I assisted at a National Convention of the Business Men’s Fellowship. At the end of the evening event a man prayed for me. Suddenly my body started to roll over the floor and shrieks came out of my mouth. Then I remembered my tattoo of an erotic drawing on my right shoulder blade and I felt that I had to show it. I took off my jacket, tie and shirt and showed the tattoo. Again the man prayed for me. And again my body rolled over the floor and shrieks came out of my mouth. At the same time I felt how a strange force was moving throughout my entire body. When my body stopped rolling and there were no more shrieks I felt that strange force present only in my hands. I knelt and begged forgiveness from the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Instantaneously that strange force also went out of my hands. I got up and dressed.
I was very impressed with what had happened and the fear of the Lord fell on me.
Only some time later I understood what had really happened to me when I read a story of Jesus casting out an evil spirit of a man:
"Be quiet!" said Jesus sternly. "Come out of him!" The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek. (Mark 1:25-26)
Just eight days later the following coincidence took place:
I testified live on television in a program of the Business Men’s Fellowship in the afternoon of Saturday, October 31, 1998, the day hurricane Mitch invaded El Salvador.
At the beginning of 1999 I promised God to read everything I had left to read in the Bible. I finished in may. In that same month my second daughter was born. Also in 1999 I started to bow with my face on the ground to worship God.
At the beginning of 2001 there was a stronger coincidence:
Enlace-TBN broadcasted a video tape of my testimony from Costa Rica towards all Latin countries one day before the big earthquake of January 13, 2001 in El Salvador.
At the end of 2000 the Christian TV station “Canal 25” videotaped my testimony. Friday, January 12, 2001 at 8 AM Enlace-TBN broadcasted the video from Costa Rica towards all Latin countries. The next day, Saturday, January 13, 2001 a big earthquake took place in El Salvador.
Friday, June 29, 2001 God did something very special:
I asked God in prayer to do “something special” to allow me to hand out printed copies of my testimony to my colleagues during office hours. THE LORD ANSWERED MY PRAYER WITH A FIRE that cut off the electric current towards the database servers of my employer.
I wanted to hand out leaflets with my testimony at the office during working hours. Thursday 28 of June I took 80 copies. At night I prayed. With my face on the ground I asked God that He would do “something special” so that I might hand out the copies the next day during office hours. In the afternoon of Friday, June 29, 2001 there was a fire at the electricity connection of the building where the database servers were housed. The fire was extinguished rapidly but there no longer was electric current to the servers. There were no emergency generators. All the servers had to be switched off. My colleagues could not continue their labors. The got up and started to walk and talk. In the middle of this chaos I also got up and I handed out the copies of my testimony. God did “something special”, just like in the story of Elijah against the 450 prophets of Baal. (1 Kings 18:36-39)
Another coincidence with my life took place on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. In the morning the twin towers of the World Trade Center were attacked in the United States. In the afternoon of that same day my third child was born (my first boy). And this becomes a double coincidence since my employer is part of a company from Pennsylvania where another airplane fell that same day.



CONCLUSIÓN OF THE TESTIMONY
I received teaching in the Christian faith from age 6 to age 18. But I did not believe. What is written in the Bible in the letter to the Romans happened to me: God has revealed himself to men, but they did not glorify him as God nor gave thanks to him; therefore God gave them over to impurity and to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done (Romans 1:19-28). I was possessed by an evil spirit that induced me to do every time more shameful things.
But the Lord Jesus had mercy on me. He came to save the Bart who had got lost. He changed me into a married man and father of three children. Now I try to live the Christian life and walk with God daily.
There are many details that I have not told, but I think I told enough for you to believe too.



WARNING: THE 666 FROM THE BIBLE APPROACHES
You need to know that a period of great tribulation is arriving when no man will be able to buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number (666) of his name (Revelation 13:16-18). This already is coming along. For example on march 2, 1999 the US Patent & Trademark Office granted US Patent 5,878,155 that reads:
A method is presented for facilitating sales transactions by electronic media. A BAR CODE OR A DESIGN IS TATTOOED ON AN INDIVIDUAL. Before the sales transaction can be consummated, the tattoo is scanned with a scanner. Characteristics about the scanned tattoo are compared to characteristics about other tattoos stored on a computer database in order to verify the identity of the buyer. Once verified, the seller may be authorized to debit the buyer's electronic bank account in order to consummate the transaction. The seller's electronic bank account may be similarly updated
Escape from the fury that will arrive soon. Only Jesus can rescue you:
... and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead -- Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath . (1 Thessalonians 1:10)


RECONCILE TO GOD NOW
When Jesus began to preach, he said:
Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near. (Matthew 4:17) For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners. (Matthew 9:13) Whoever comes to me I will never drive away.(John 6:37)
After Jesus died and was raised, the apostles talked like this:
Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit... Save yourselves from this corrupt generation. (Acts 2:38; 2:40) We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20)
The Bible says that all have sinned. Therefore I implore you now, if you haven't done so yet: reconcile to God. God expects: that you ask him forgiveness for your past "sins"; that you believe in his son Jesus; that you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross; that the blood he shed is the price paid for your "sins"; that you examine by the light of the Word of God which of your current habits are "sins", and that you separate yourself from them
God expects that after you be reconciled to him you start a new life:
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind ... Love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37; 22:39) So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you. (Matthew 7:12) Study the Scriptures diligently. (John 5:39) Pray continually. (1 Thessalonians 5:17) Lay hold of the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:14) Mind your own business and work with your hands. (1 Thessalonians 4:11) Do not worry about your life ... do not worry about it. (Luke 12:22; 12:29) Don't be afraid. (Matthew 14:27) Do not judge, or you too will be judged. (Matthew 7:1) Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed ... you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other. (Colossians 3:5-9) Let us not give up meeting together. (Hebrews 10:25)
You need to know as well that Jesus will come back again and that you need to prepare for this second coming:
He will appear a second time ... to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him (Hebrews 9:28) So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. (Mt. 24:44)
God expects that you be “hot” in your deeds; he says he will spit the lukewarm out of his mouth (Revelation 3:15-16). He also says: he who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son; but the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur; this is the second death (Revelation 21:7-8).
It is my duty to show you the way, the truth and the life: it is the Lord Jesus Christ. This is a calling to live your life in agreement with the will of God. Believe in Jesus Christ and take this calling from God serious. What do you choose?
Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment. (Hebrews 9:27) Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him. (John 3:36) Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life. (Matthew 25:46)
He who has ears, let him hear, Jesus said.

TESTIMONY
I was born in Belgium in 1966. I was baptized in Catholic Church.
My parents took me to church until I was about 12 years old. From age 6 to age 18 I learned about the God of Israel and the Lord Jesus Christ in religion classes at school. I thought a lot about God and Jesus. I asked my self whether God really had created the earth, whether Jesus Christ had really been on earth 2000 years before, and if he had really done all the things they had told us.
From 1984 to 1988 I studied Computer Sciences at the Brussels Free University. I no longer had religion classes. I stopped thinking about God and Jesus. The fact is that I did not get to believe.
In 1988 I graduated. I started to work. I went to live alone. I started a relationship with a university student. I drank. There was an abortion. I used codeine pills. In 1994 I broke up that relationship.
I went to the prostitutes, erotic clubs and massage parlors. Alone at home I committed many perversions. I lived by western and Chinese astrology, I Tjing, Feng Shui, Yoga, and so on.
In 1995 I met a Salvadorian woman in a Yoga class in Belgium. In July of 1996 we moved to El Salvador. We married. I got sick and lost about 20 pounds of weight. I was facing problems in my matrimony and economic difficulties. In December of 1996 our first daughter was born.
In February of 1997 I was invited at a breakfast meeting of Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International. At the end of the event I repeated a prayer to reconcile with God. In 1998 I started to go to a church, to read in the Bible, to ask things to God, and so on. In fact I got to believe truly in God and Jesus.
After that God put a series of amazing events and coincidences in my testimony.
